Devoted fans of the pop star are urging that a person who breached a fence and seized the performer during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be detained or removed from Singapore.

A viral footage depicts the individual from Australia pushing past photographers and lunging at Grande while the performers walked down a event pathway surrounded by fans.

Co-star Cynthia Erivo immediately pulled the stunned performer away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "released after being detained", though official papers revealed that he was scheduled to attend court on the next day. It is not clear if he was formally accused.

Record of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Controversial Figure", has crashed a performance. His Instagram profile features clips of him disrupting other celebrity events, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney performance in earlier this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the same location last winter.

"There needs to be action taken against him as this is evidently a punishable act," stated an Instagram user, in a message to a video Mr Wen posted of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" one Instagram user wrote.

Fans Voice Worry Over Grande's Safety

Many supporters blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had discussed dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a suicide bomb attack at the end of her 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said a further message on Instagram.

A number of fans also criticised security officers at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals demanded social media platforms to block Mr Wen's videos.

Reaction and Premiere Information

In clips spreading on the internet, Grande appeared surprised when she was touched by the intruder. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was escorted away by security.

Grande has not commented on the incident, and the rest of the event proceeded as normal.
